Big Bob scooped the DMN with news that Tom Leppert will resign as Dallas mayor, effective Friday, and has plans to make another announcement soon. Meantime, Ron Paul just raked in $700,000 with a so-called “money bomb,” and says he’ll decide within a few months whether to run for president or U.S. Senate. Suddenly the race to succeed Dallas’ Kay Bailey Hutchison seems more interesting and, apparently, the Arthur and Archie Show is about to begin.

Will someone please point me to the munitions plant that sells money bombs? I want one of those.
Sorry, Tim, you can’t get in without a Key To The City.
You know what makes me sad? I notice that Tim Rogers is commenting with a link in his name to Frontburner. Obviously he’s using his influence to sway people to send him to the munitions factory that produces money bombs. He will go to the magical money-bomb factory while thousands of needy, potential Senate candidates wait.
This primary will show how really shallow the Tea Party thing is.
good riddance Mayor Tom. Your actions just illustrate how little you actually care about the people of Dallas (other than your golf buddies or people who help your endless cylce of self promotion). Hopefully voters will remember this when you try to hide your big hands come primary time.
