The staggering income statistics are the television revenue and the league’s revenue sharing numbers for our beloved Rangers. Respectively $130 mil and $28 mil combined for ‘08 and ‘09.
This doesn’t make one feel good about what went on in ‘08 and ‘09, but if you want to see a horror show- peek at the Pirates financials- substantial profit for the owner despite terrible results on the field. More financials are supposedly forthcoming as MLB scrambles to plug the leak.
