Proof That Our Carona Elephant Cover Wasn’t Photoshopped

In the comments to this post, several people said they thought our April cover was a Photoshop job. As promised, here’s a shot of Elizabeth “Spider Monkey” Lavin and Sen. John Carona on the set to prove that the photo was the real deal. And, below that, a cellphone video from the set.

  8. Where’s the footage of Birthday Girl hoisting him hairy arse on up there? On account of I doubt he climbed up himself all spontaneous-like and filled with childlike glee.

  10. I never even considered that the cover was ‘chop-shopped’ ’cause NOTHING is fake when Lavin is at work. She’s about as new-age 21rst century as they get & as such could certainly avail herself of tricks others of lesser talent would naturally use, But she’s too ahead-of-the-curve smart to even consider using shortcuts. IOW, If she was a cook, she could whip up a soufle easier than competitors could microvave a potato.
