Rem Koolhaas address our sub-group of media types in an antechamber to the roof-deck party space atop the Wyly. At one point, while answering a question, he took out his cellphone and fiddled with it. He seemed distracted and not entirely ecstactic about being there. Which made this all the more delicious: when he’d finished his five minutes of explication, a member of the media who shall remained unnamed said, “I couldn’t hear what you said. Can you say it again?”
