Texas Dominates ABC News/Forbes “Best Cities For Jobs”

Dallas is ranked at #5. Austin is #1. Joel Kotkin at ABC News makes one of several interesting observations:

Democratic states are glaringly absent from the top of the list.

Gosh, how surprising. Wonder why.

  1. Wick,

Thanks for the post. I would love to see more weekend news. Actually, I would love to see more posts during the week, too. The volume has noticeably decreased.

  2. One more thing. If you changed your word from “Democratic States” to “Democratic Cities” how would that change your analysis? I’ll hang up and listen.

  6. I think the list stated cities not states. The cities that are listed are either moderate or liberal. You can play the cards both ways. Wick, that’s a stupid analysis. Anyways, GO TEXAS!!!

  8. My apologies, good readers. I thought a city and state were the same thing. Similarly, I think $100 bills and $1 bills are the same thing.
