Techie Nostalgia: RadioShack Catalogs

Thirty years ago, the techno must-have from Fort Worth-based RadioShack was the “dream system” Realistic Hi-Fi. Or maybe you’d prefer the TRC-424 mobile radio CB that promised “safety and togetherness.” Check out the RadioShack catalog from 1978, and nearly every other year of the company’s existence, thanks to RadioShackCatalogs.com.     Does anyone else remeber the greatness of the Tandy leather goods catalog? My mom wouldn’t let me get the knee hi fringe moc kit. Drat.
