More Proof Sean Avery Is Awesome

Our favorite Dallas Star was at it again today. The team is in Calgary to play a hockey match tonight. But that wasn’t what was on Avery’s mind. As he told TSN:

“I just want to comment on how it’s become like a common thing in the NHL for guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds. I don’t know what that’s about. Enjoy the game tonight.”

That was most likely aimed at Flames defenseman Dion Phaneuf. Mr. Phaneuf is currently dating actress Elisha Cuthbert, whom you may recognize from 24, Old School, and my dreams. Game on. (H/T: Deadspin.)
