Next time, I will have more confidence in my athletic abilities and raise the stakes of this bet, which boiled down to Tim looking like his normal self today. I guess the question now is: did Tim or Eric look better in the reviled shirt?

Both are too sexy for said shirt. Push.

I hope you did not wash it and that it has lots of man scents and man liquids on it.

@Fred
Is that a euphemism?

It’s not another shirt, it’s the same shirt – that’s what makes the payoff of the bet funny.
Man, I never knew a guy could hate a shirt so much, Mr. Shall Not Pass, if that is indeed your real name. I’ll make sure that I mark “custom shirts” off of your Christmas list.

Does he have a dip in his mouth?

At least he’s not checking his makeup in the picture.

Somehow that shirt looks better sitting behind a desk than it did on a bald man picking his teeth while looking at his makeup case mirror.

It’s not the shirt that makes Tim look gay.

Please, please save us from a resurgence of the “reverse” collar. Please, dear God — I don’t ask for much. There were good things about the 80s — hell, I even broke out Kate Bush’s Hounds of LoveL just last night, for which I refused to apologize and still will not — but the reverse collar was not one of them.
That said, it’s not a “gay” shirt, as Eric’s was, not that anything’s wrong with that. More like Gordon Gekko.

Oh, it’s the same shirt. I’m stupid. Well, Tim is somehow not as gay as Eric, a thought which I hope brings him succor in his darker hours.

I don’t agree with Daniel on much, but I do agree that “Hounds of Love” is a great album. And white collars look good on some shirts.
@ 10:30 am on October 29, 2008
you guys are both losers.
@ 10:34 am on October 29, 2008
I think it’s a very nice shirt, but Tim doesn’t fill it out just right…can we say “Larry North”?

Where are the klassy kuff links to go with it?
A set of Hello Kitty cuff links would have completed the ensemble.

FrontBurner® launched in March 2003, the first blog in Dallas run by a media organization. This is where the editors of D Magazine come to waste a tremendous amount of time.
