Precinct 3549 (Singing Hills): A Rogue Precinct Chair?
I’m elevating to the main blog the below report, which was made by Maggie in the comments section. This story has yet to be verified by FrontBurner election HQ. But it’s shocking stuff if this is truly what went down:
Major problems tonight at the Singing Hills Recreation Center, Precinct 3549. 23 of 23 delegates were going to be awarded to Obama. Chair announced herself a Clinton supporter and said she was “taking the sheets home to correct them.” She was screaming and yelling, and folks tried to physically restrain her and take the packet from her, but couldn’t. Someone was videotaping the whole thing.
Update: I sent Maggie a note. She reports more:
Wish I was kidding. I wasn’t there, but I’m hosting two poll-watchers for Obama from New Mexico, and they’ve been there all night. They’re both attorneys. When Mario called me, I could hear the woman screaming in the background. She sounded absolutely crazy. I’m not sure who was videotaping. They had to go back to headquarters. But I’ll get more details late tonight. The precinct he started in was all disqualified bc no one validated the votes. Kind of a mess over there. I think that was 3541. But 3549 is a nightmare.

Hmm… what is Ms. Sanchez, the one responsible for the disaster that was the NM primary, doing in TX and HAPPEN to take these pictures? Who is paying her way since she was fired… I mean resigned… after the fiasco? Methinks it’s Obama’s white henchmen who be paying Sanchez to fake this story to make Hillary look bad.
