Dodd Not Forced Out

We are shipping Trey, which is why I never posted the results of my inquiries into this. In fact, multiple folks at Channel 11 tell me that, although she was certainly frustrated by some of the things going on in TV news these days, she viewed those as just part of the job. The word I got is that she really does want to stay home for a while. Now, that doesn’t mean that she won’t resurface in a year after whatever non-compete she had runs out. (As Brett Shipp did, back in the day, when he went from Channel 4 to Channel 8.) But for now she’s just fine as a stay-at-home Kunkler.
