No, not you this time, Trey. Another Garrison’s facing jail time—Lane to be exact.
Paul yelled at me for missing this yesterday, as I am the Resident Lane Garrison Correspondent in this office. I was in the weeds shipping FrontBurner’s print edition’s sister publication and fetching Vicodin for my now appendix-free roommate. My apologies.
To summarize, Garrison, the knocked-off former Prison Break star and Richardson native, has pleaded guilty to two felony charges (vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence and driving a motor vehicle while under the influence) and one misdemeanor (providing alcohol to a minor) in connection with the death of a 17-year-old last year. There’s video at the link above of Garrison in court issuing a somber “I am guilty” reply to each of the charges. If nothing else, it’s nice to see him taking responsibility for his actions. He will be sentenced in August, and faces almost seven years in prison.
