Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban makes a cameo at the end of this Skechers ad.  Unfortunately, the line they gave him falls flat.  Rating: 4 out of 10

Deion Sanders shows up at about the 11-second mark in this Century 21 ad, having baked cookies for his open house.  Apparently he’s still having trouble selling his “$21 million” home in Prosper?  It’s solid work on his part.  Rating: 7 out of 10

And we got a double dip of Deion from this Bridgestone Tire commercial, where he tries to receive a pass from another Dallas Cowboys great, Troy Aikman.  Troy doesn’t get to do much, but Deion again gets to show how his “Primetime” skills.  Rating:  6 out of 10

We didn’t know we’d be breaking the news of Troy Aikman’s separation from his wife (they were later divorced) when we put him on our February cover ahead of Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium and included a line about how the Cowboys legend spoke to us “on marriage and loss.” We swear. No, really. Really, we didn’t.

I mean, really.

The ad is a real hoot.

I bring this up because not long ago he did this to Julia Clarke, who is a nurse at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano. She was um, excited. A lot. To the point, in fact, that Berkus said he was a little scared. I don’t want to point fingers, here, but if someone jumped out of a crate at me, I’d probably use pepper spray (unless, like Julia, I was lead in to a room where a bunch of people were cheering and there was a camera crew and the crate said, “NATE” on it. Of course, this isn’t the first time the airline got the TV treatment. Back in 2004, it was the subject of an A&E series, “Airline.” For the record, TLC says the recent controversy has nothing to do with the network’s interest.
