The new edition of City Crime Rankings is out. Fort Worth is the ninth-safest city in the nation. Dallas? The fifth-most dangerous with a population over 500,000.

Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief says his city's safer because of its increased police presence. If Dallas officials won't listen to David Kunkle when he asks for more cops, maybe they'll listen to Moncrief.
