As mentioned earlier, Julie Boyle was diagnosed with breast cancer. Here's her story about it in the Star-Telegram. It's a good piece, and you should read it. There's no telling what caused the cancer, but Julie says:

If Joe Barton doesn't stop favoring industries at the expense of families, come the primaries, a bald Republican mother of three undergoing chemo might just take him on.
