MIDLOTHIAN SAGA CONTINUES

Long-suffering FrontBurnervians (and D subscribers) will remember the Boyles. Tom and Julie were good Republicans until they moved to Midlothian and learned all about TXI and Joe Barton (more here). Erin Brockovich, in fact, recently made a trip to Midlothian to investigate claims made by some townspeople that the three cement plants there are making them sick. Anecdotal evidence suggests an unusual concentration of birth defects and cancers in that area.

Yes, well. Tom tells me that Julie has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She will write about it in this Saturday's Star-Telegram.
