GIANT ABOUT TO TUMBLE?

When son-in-law Jamie Hooper hit Mort Meyerson up for the millions to launch Giant, an "entertainment, pop-culture" magazine, I wish Mort would have given me a jingle. I'm rarely able to talk people out of less-than-well-considered magazine ideas, but at least I would have given it the old college try. Apparently the magazine is entering its last throes, according to this (rather morbid) site [second item].
