A fellow journalist and FrontBurnervian sends this excellent LA Times column that reveals the disconnect between major media and their readers/viewers regarding Katrina coverage. The column references this amazing piece of reporting from The Times-Picayune. Those people (including some friends I mentioned in an earlier post) who claimed they weren't properly warned were wrong—big time.
