A former Dallas Morning News crime reporter by the name of Robert Tharp (along with his buddies Jack Turlington and Mary Norvell) has released an app for the anniversary of the JFK assassination. The JFK in Dallas 50 pitch: “Through video, images and an interactive map, learn more about the key players, their unlikely relationships, and the city’s seamy underbelly. Finally, test your JFK knowledge with the Conspiracy Quiz.”
Which has me wondering about something. We’ve been having a conversation periodically in the office. How much do people care about the anniversary? I read somewhere that only 5 percent of the current Dallas population was living in Dallas in 1963. (Please don’t quote me on this. My memory is horrible.) Does anyone want an app for the JFK assassination? How about, oh, say, a magazine cover story? Just asking. No particular reason.
