Behold, the return of Patio Sessions.
Outside the Winspear Opera House, you’ll find free tunes, food trucks, and space to spread out. Unfortunately, you will have to leave the nice-ish bottle of wine you’ve got chilling the fridge at home. The only booze permitted is what’s sold at AT&T PAC’s concessions. You can, however, bring a picnic. Tonight’s entertainment begins with Madison King followed by Telegraph Canyon’s Chris Johnson.
The Dallas Arboretum’s fall concert series also starts anew this evening with a not-yet-sold-out performance from the Irish rock group Killdares. For this one, your picnic basket can include beer.
Finally, it’s the first night of Uptown Players’ Pride Performing Arts Festival, and it begins not with a play but with some solid comedy. The funny duo Amy Armstrong and Freddy Allen are putting on a one-night-only performance in the upstairs space of the Kalita Humphreys theater.
