After 34 years on the air, the WFAA reporter is jumping ship to become the chief of communications for Luminant (which has to make Belo brass wonder if they should have simply paid Allan Koenig, the former WFAA employee who hired Watson, the money he deserved back in the day to keep him in the warm embrace of the family (full disclosure: before he started wearing lavender slacks, Koenig (really, his lovely, hospitable wife) cooked me dinner on occasion)).
