  3. My favorite pre-game speech – from the 1980 “Miracle On Ice” US Hockey team. Some people forget we beat the Soviets in the semi-finals and still had to beat Finland to win the Gold. In the documentary about the team, one of the players recites Coach Brooks’ entire pre-game speech for the Gold-Medal game against Finland.
