Kwame Kilpatrick Is a Free Man Once Again. Today the disgraced former mayor of Detroit ends a 14-month prison term for violating his probation. He plans to return to Dallas and work on his memoir. But while he was in prison, a grand jury indicted him on public corruption charges. So he’s got that to look forward to.

I was in Detroit on business in 2008 for several weeks when the whole Kwame Kilpatrick thing blew up. I watched his resignation on the local news and was just amazed at his total lack of remorse. City tattletales, the governor – everyone was to blame but him.

Has anyone else noticed that Dirk is conspicuously missing from the wall in front of the Nike store being built at North Park? Kobe is on there, but not Dirk. For shame.
