The New York Post says that the richest man in Dallas, Andy Beal, has lost $50 million in recent months playing high-stakes poker. Apparently Tobey Maguire was in on the action, too. A spokesman for Beal told the Post that the figure wasn’t accurate but didn’t get more specific than that. Loyal readers will remember when our Dan Michalski played cards with Beal at the Lodge for slightly lower stakes.

We Michiganders love our card games. He needs to switch to Euchre, more fun, less money.
Well that explains a lot.. I sent him a request to help fund TeenScreen for Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas.. and didn’t hear back from him..

I have been begging for funds for TeenScreen for Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas… with all the bullying .. we need it and precious Amy sent a note about it. even if Andy is out Gambling.. his plight helped us.. so Kudos but Andy.. we are a non-profit and can give you a good deduction… those poker friends do no such thing.. LOL.
