An alert FrontBurnervian points us to the news that the governor of Ohio, John Kasich, has issued an official proclamation making the Mavericks honorary Ohioans. I like the cut of that Kasich’s jib.

If you read the proclamation, it also honorarily adopts Mavs “friends, family and fans.” I guess we’re all Ohioans tomorrow.

Ohio has always had a special relationship with Texas, going back to when the great city of Cincinnati sent the Twin Sisters that helped win San Jacinto.
