ABC’s 2012 television series based on Kim Gatlin’s book, Good Christian Britches, is like a gal who’s hit the altar more than a couple of times. Over the weekend it had another name change. While the original title (”Good Christian Britches”) really didn’t sit right with some folks, the second title (”Good Christian Belles”) just didn’t do anything for the powers-that-be.
The latest working title is “GCB”.

Makes me wonder if it should be GBC–Gonna Be Canceled.
Now wait a minute A.B.. give it a chance.. you of course can wonder… but i am guessing that it will take off.. if Housewives of Atlanta, New Jersey , New York, Orange County can make it.. this can.. oddly enough Housewives of DC didn’t make it . “shows to go you, we never know”. this just might.. just keep praying that there isn’t a Houswives of Dallas.. omgoodness.. This should have been sold to HBO, ramped up the drama, kept the original title and.. zing! You’ve got your next “Sopranos” series. right. there.
I sure hope it makes it! Kim wrote a killer book that makes those that need to, squirm a bit!
The cast is great! I do agree with DMBurrows, if it were on HBO the title would have stayed, and it could have been even more realistic than it can be on ABC.
I think GCB is perfect for ABC.
They need to add Christian Bale to the cast.
