So yesterday the Houston Press, sister publication of the Dallas Observer, decided to post an item called “The 10 Hottest Women on the Texas Sex Offenders List.” Which is pretty much what it sounds like.
Yes, they’ve already issued an apology. And yes, we’ve now linked to them, which may have given them exactly what they wanted in the first place.

Too bad the reporter didn’t ask, “What’s the offender’s profession?” and “Is a church involved?” You know, some padre/teacher context…..
Wow. I’m not easily offended, and I originally assumed this was going to be a list of those hot teachers who hook up with students that are only 6 or 7 years younger than them. There are a couple of those, but some of these women were convicted of doing stuff with kids as young as 2 and 4 years old. How can anyone make light of that??!!

I think we have all learned a valuable lesson. There is clearly nothing offensive when it comes to sex and hot women…
