Makes sense to me. Congress has failed utterly in reforming our antiquated immigration laws. So why shouldn’t Texas protect businesses and immigrant workers with a program of its own?

Although presenting itself differently in a different sector, this is exactly the same sort of institutionalized mutual back scratching – as long as Mexico provides us with cheap labor, we’ll siphon off social pressure on Mexico to reform – that Scott Walker and other governors are trying to stamp out with respect to public sector unions and their special relationships with government.

No, because there are still small towns in this country, where Americans, still do those jobs, that the big city elites say,” Americans won’t do”. I think we should give out more green cards, for immigrant journalist! How’s that sound! Does this site have any non-caucasian writers? Just wondering?
