Store closing update: due to hourly blackouts in the Highland Park area, our store there is closed as of 1:30pm. We anticipate opening at 10am tomorrow as scheduled.

Dammit! I was looking forward to shopping there and then slowly unloading my groceries from my large SUV so all my neighbors would see that I shop at Whole Foods — it’s a sign that I care more about the earth than they do.
Of course, 1:30 was the same time that they announced the rolling blackouts were done.

I guess I live on the same grid as someone special bc I never had one all day, how large are the grids
Since Highland Park Village insists on keeping every single Christmas light on every single one of their trees lit every single night (including last night) I think that any riots should occur right in the middle of their multi-million dollar island.
