Robert “Don’t Give Me That ‘Happy Holidays’ Crap” Jeffress and his First Baptist Saints continue their total domination of that downtown Dallas parking garage. (The underwater-looking light cast on the demolition site comes from a reflection off of our building.)

I used to park in that garage. It was just awful, especially the ramp to the top floor which would always scrape the bottom of my Nissan 200SX. Here is a photo of the garage during one of our last snow storms:

By the way, this was the parking garage of the Cotton Exchange building that was demolished in 1992, so this is part of a much older story that might be worth revisiting. The stone lions that you see in front of the Stoneleigh Hotel used to “live” across the street from here many years ago.
Good grief. We GET IT ALREADY. You don’t like Robert Jeffress or First Baptist. Find someone/something else to gripe about.
@BodaMama: I don’t dislike Jeffress or First Baptist. As I’ve said before in this space, I’m ambivalent about their building plans (I think the fountain looks like tacky Las Vegas, but I can’t wait to see it). And I think his Grinch site is not WJWD.
As far as this demolition sit is concerned, to be clear, I’m just curious about its progress.
They need to stop showing so much Christian charity toward that building and just dynamite the damn thing.
