I have terrible news for you, FrontBurner readers. It looks like you can no longer get tickets to see the small but mighty Al Pacino speak at the Winspear tonight. However, you can still get tickets to ABBA MANIA. So if you’re itching to hear “Fernando” performed live, you’re all set. The other 99.9% of you should jump to the next page for other options.

If you missed the deadline to make reservations for tonight’s Taste of the NFL dinner in Fort Worth, do not despair. The delightful woman who answered the phone at Grady’s told me a few seats are still available, so drop what you’re doing and call 817-922-9980 if shrimp tamales, maple-crusted beef tenderloin, stuffed quail, and dessert tacos sound good to you.

The rest of you should take in a sporting event. Why not support your local ice hockey team as it attempts to roast the Anaheim Ducks? Frankly, if I were going, I’d make a meal (a delicious, magical meal) out of nachos and fried things from the concession stand, but I’m sure you’re more refined than that. You’ll probably want to have some money left over for beer during the game, To that end, get yourself over to Uptown Bar & Grill. Our panel of experts holds this casual restaurant’s burger in high esteem. If I were you, however, I’d order the patty melt, which as I recall is rather delicious. If you’re not tonight’s designated driver, you might considering washing it down with a refreshing $3 draft.
