Bathroom humor abounds in this very sophisticated workplace, but I assure you, this is legit. There’s this contest–America’s Best Restroom–and you can vote. The problem: no Dallas location made the cut. And unlike Branson and Fort Smith, Arkansas, we don’t even have anything in the Hall of Fame. So I’m going to right that wrong and nominate some amazing spaces. My bathroom savvy co-workers suggested Fearing’s, Cafe San Miguel, and Stephan Pyles. (Tim claims there’s a window in Pyles’ men’s room from which you can wave to people.) Am I missing somewhere? Who has the best bathroom in Dallas?

I’m going to say the bathroom off the guest room at my house, based on privacy, lighting, and reading materials.
Tei An has auto-fogging doors and other assorted fanciness. Don’t think I’ve seen that anywhere else stateside.
Ships Lounge, duh…
The auto bidet at Tei An is pretty damn awesome. Japanese bathroom tech is the best!
@Steve: That’s funny. When Laura asked me the question about who has the best bathrooms, I immediately said, “I know who has the WORST bathroom: Ships.” She countered with Lee Harvey’s. Definitely two of the worst in town.
men’s room at the service bar on greenville.
The Amon Carter museum has the best. Soft music, great lighting and good toilet paper.
The Monk’s bathroom ain’t so nice.
Barney’s toilet at Northpark creates a lovely respite where you can sit and contemplate just how you’re going to pay for what you covet.
Tei An’s is on my list of places to take out of towners due partially to that bathroom, and of course the food… but that bathroom can’t be beat
Basement of the Hyatt downtown, great place never crowded. Perfect for when riding dart.
I read this and had to smile. I’ve only visited retirement communities. But I know old people, just qualified for SS myself.
This is the kind of stuff old people find really interesting.
Y’all are sounding old.
Northpark’s Family Restroom near La Duni and Cibus. One regular toilet and one shorter toilet for the kids. And always super clean.
Taco Diner at West Village. Mico has superb taste.
For browsing material, the Angry Dog must be considered.
The new addition at The Belo is really nice and it’s always empty…
Any bathroom’s the best in town when you really gotta go. Which is a cryptic way of saying The Winedale Tavern.
Tei An, hands down. Even all the way to the ice in the sink. And that bidet is awesome.
Hi:
I am survey editor for the contest and I would love to see some nominations from Dallas, we just didn’t get any thing year. Please go to our website, vote, and while you are there, click on the nomination button (located on the navigation bar) and nominate some Dallas establishments for next year’s contest.
Best regards
