Rhett Miller of the Old 97s Heads to Round 3 of D Magazine Words With Friends Tournament

The seventh person to claim a spot in our Saccharine 16 is musician Rhett Miller of the Old 97s. He made his way to round 3 by besting the last Newtoy representative standing, Jessica Oyhenart. Final score was 325 to 296. No bingos in the match, which he called “a defensive struggle.”
