The Ticket’s Gordon Keith and Dan McDowell Advance, KERA’s Krys Boyd Falters in Words With Friends Tournament

I’ve already told you that Ben Rogers will play in round two of the tournament. Here’s how the other radio stars in the field of 64 have fared:

• Gordon Keith of the Ticket beat Andy Gotcher of Newtoy Inc. (the company behind Words With Friends). Final score was 361 to 293.
• Dan McDowell of the Ticket beat Mary Rhoades, who is organizing the National Scrabble Championship to be played in Dallas in August. Score was 382 to 336.
• Krys Boyd, the host of KERA’s Think, fell to sports agent Trennis Jones by a score of 319 to 328.
