A co-working FBvian tells me they’re installing a humongous banner on the Bank of America tower. We can’t see it from our side of the building. Who on the Stemmons side has a view and can send a pic? Pretty please?

This has been going on for several days now. They’ve been installing the super graphics on the Hyatt, BofA Tower, and–according to a friend who spoke to the installers last week–the Renaissance Hotel (or, as the installers described it, the “one that looks like a tube of lipstick”). These are for the upcoming NBA All-Star Game.

They are also putting them on the Hyatt (by Reunion Tower). I’d guess the BOA one is 1/3 of the way done.

My office window is covered with it, so now when I look out the window everything has a mesh looking haze. It sucks. Oh, and it’s already torn in several places.
They told us residents of BoA that it wouldn’t be visible from the inside (I guess like those ads on bus windows) but yea, you notice it, for sure.

@dfwcre8tive: Thank you. Really cool photograph.
@Sparky and MegB: Sorry to hear about your blocked views. Take comfort, though. Not long after Valentine’s Day, it’ll all be taken down.

It looks they have already added some images. Don’t know how they got that ball on top of Reunion Tower:

My BofA window is also covered with it, and it doesn’t do much for the view (which is crappy today anyway).
The most amazing thing about this graphic is that the installation is happening overnight, in the dark, on scaffolds up 30-60 stories.
They couldn’t pay me enough to do that job.
