3. If a fire breaks out in east Fort Worth, and NBC5 isn’t there to provide “team coverage,” does anybody care?

Pretty unfair to say Merten nearly derailed the case. If the jury was discussing evidence, then they nearly derailed the case. If they weren’t, doesn’t that information deserve to come to light? Why have rules about what can and can’t be discussed if we’re not going to enforce them?
At least Merten and the D.O. covered the case unlike another blog and magazine we know. Hint, hint.
