FrontBurner® has been called the best blog in Dallas (repeatedly), a snarky celebration of ignorance, and a daily conversation about Dallas among the editors of D Magazine.

Their vote was clear.

It was a simple resolution that would only allow the Town staff to look into the matter. It was well thought out and did not obligate the Town to do anything, but discover and investigate all the alternatives as it relates to Historic Preservation.

We had a packed house (standing room only) all in favor of the Town moving forward on this. There was one dissenter among all those who attended. The Council unfortunately went with him.

I was personally very disappointed that you had all of these citizens come out on a cold and rainy night to speak about why they love our Town and find this proposed resolution worthy of passage only to be turned back out into the cold by those Council members (and Mayor) who decided on their own that this is not something the Town should be involved with without even studying the matter.

I plan to continue this effort- Searcy
