The sprinkler system in our office just went off because Glenn Hunter’s pants are on fire. A source is telling me that he took DART to work this morning, even though he said he would stay off their trains. WTF, Fire Pants?

You’re right, Tim; you caught me! Because for various reasons I didn’t need a car at work today, my wife offered to give me a ride in the rain to the DART station. (No parking there involved.) Don’t worry, though. Tomorrow I buy my first monthly pass for the Guadalupe Cathedral parking lot, and you won’t have to worry about my pants being on fire again.

I have taken the train to work about 1 block from where you work everyday for 2 years, and have encountered exactly zero problems.

Didn’t I see the Guadalupe Cathedral in “The Davinci Code”? I don’t know if I’d park there, man.

Note to self: Check Guadalupe Cathedral parking lot for cars with nice stuff in them.

Glenn, pull up the crime reports for the Guadalupe garage. When I worked at both Chase Tower AND 2100 Ross/San Jacinto Tower, there were numerous reports of car break-ins in that garage and non-existent security. (I worked for the building management and a lot of our tenants rented spots in that garage.)
The situation may have improved; I recommend due diligencing up to ensure you aren’t committing yourself to serial car break-ins.
