It’s time to start giving money to the resident arts groups who are going to have to ‘pay the rent’ to use these facilites.
Buy tickets and donate to your favorite resident group. This level of extravangance doesn’t come cheap…

SO jealous of the Sylar photo. Can’t believe we missed him! I agree with everything you said, except I liked George Hearn. I loved his voice, and he just didn’t strike me as the kind of person who was going to come out and do a little song and dance, a la Chenowith. He seemed quiet and humble. I don’t know if that’s how he really is, but that’s how he seemed to me, and I liked him (especially the first song, about being a cad who won’t send you roses).

It was great being there and enjoying the performances, the spectacle of the two new buildings, and the excitement of a new era for culture in Dallas. The Winspear and Wyly families are to be congratulated on this magnificent accomplishment, and the people of Dallas…or Southlake, in our case…will always be grateful.
