Today is the last day in our old office, across the street from Al Biernat’s, one of our favorite eateries and drinkeries for the past decade or so. And it STILL will be a favorite, of course. But you know how it goes. You move. You promise to stay in touch. And then, well, things change. Life gets in the way.
So we are here, not saying goodbye, no. Saying until next time. (As for why Eric has sprouted wings, I can offer no explanation.)

Having had many great lunches there with you and Adam and Wick (and even Tracy Rowlett!), this makes me sad. Best wishes in the new digs.
May the “Splash Program” never die!
I just want to know when you all are going to going to start having Friday happy hours inside the new digs
Saw Wick there a couple of weeks ago — he wouldn’t even say hi to me. Is Stephan Pyles going to become the new hangout?
Al’s is the only place I know where they let you buy half drinks. Or maybe, after a point, they would only let me buy half drinks. It’s always kind of fuzzy.
Marty, that is the “Splash Program.”
Wick, Table Number 37 will still be held every day until 12:30. If you do not show I will then give it away. We will miss that crazy laugh of Wick’s and the fun stories. Hope Stephan takes great care of all of you. We will definitely miss D magazine and all the fantastic people. All The Best!!!! Al Biernat
Al, it’s a tall order to match your graciousness, but we will certainly try.
Stephan Pyles
You know, Al’s does have valet parking…
As I was leaving yesterday, I saw Eric walking across the parking lot with the angel wings…
I thought maybe he had lost a bet! Or, we you guys, maybe he had won…
Thank you, D, for all the cheer you brought Al Biernat’s over the years. We’ll miss all of you! [Table 37 - 12:30.]
