Let’s do this. Friday at precisely 10:30, I will post on FrontBurner some football trivia questions. I’m calling it “FrontBurner Football Movie Contest Friday.” Catchy, no? First person to provide me with the correct answers to the questions wins a free copy of each of the top 10 football movies of all time (according to Blockbuster). Plus, you’ll get a free 30-day subscription to Blockbuster by mail. So consider this your heads-up. See you Friday at 10:30. Here’s hoping everyone plays hard and gives 110 percent.
As Chris Arnold says, “People love lists”, but I must say this list is bogus. Where is the Notre Dame classic, Rudy?
Also, they left off “Gus” the story of the field goal kicking donkey.

Asking for 110 percent reminds me a lot of my ex-wife’s divorce lawyers.
Clarification, please.
Are these trivia questions from football movies (as in the title Frontburner Football Movie Contest), or football team/game trivia (as in the description “some football trivia questions”). Because one I could probably ace and the other I could miserably fail.
No problem. I’ll play hard, give 110%, take it one question at a time, log on and give it my all, and if I stick to the game plan and have the ball at the end of the questions, I should be able to silence all my critics out there.
10:30 AM or PM?
If losing the FrontBurner Football Movie Contest Friday is the worst thing that happens to me in my life. I think I will have lived a pretty good life.
on a plane at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, so i’ll submit my answers now
