Speaking of Jerome Weeks, a finger-gun-shooting FBvian points us to this post in which Weeks wonders whether THE Magazine is long for this world. Seems the mag that covers galleries and the like hasn’t paid its freelancers in some time, which is never a good sign.

A pity? THE was neither a magazine nor handsome. Its recycled, recycled, ungainly look works only for trees and the content was frankly, uninspired. With more ads than content, art was not THE focus. Art, by its nature, demands high resolution, high quality reproduction. With two comments on Art and Seek and none here, obviously its demise will be as brief as its name and readership. THE Magazine…may it rest in pieces!
