Read the book and loved it….saw the movie and it IS the book…and enjoyed the movie. It’s a great PR for Mental Health as Mark Whitaker was bipolar. I’ve also lived the era…as I’m from Decatur, IL and watched the movie unfold before our eyes. We loved having Matt Damon visit our city and Kurt Eichenwald come for book signings at our mall. That’s a lot of excitement for this little town in central Illinois!
