Jessica Simpson Has Lost Her Dog, Wants It Back

People.com has a story up about Jessica Simpson’s dog, Daisy. The maltipoo was snatched by a coyote right in front of her, according to Simpson’s Twitter feed. She wrote: “My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!” Here’s a pic of the cute dog, along with a poster offering an unspecified reward. I wonder how many coyotes follow Simpson on Twitter. (Aside: I had a few marmot tweeps for a while, but then I made an off-color rodent joke, and they all un-followed me. And don’t ever follow water buffalo. IJS.)

Does she think the coyotes are holding it ransom or something?

Dear, I know it’s sad to think about it but Daisy was eaten and unless you want to find it’s carcass I suggest you stop searching for her because you aren’t going to like what you find.

damn coyotes…and Obama wants them to have universal health care.

Actually, coyotes are really into technology. You’d be surprised.

This story just doesn’t add up. Coupled with this other twitpic of hers, I have some suspicions:

    We’re on to you Simpson……

  • Whatever You Say

It is puzzling that while there is a APB out on the dog no one seems to mention where this dog snatching occurred- California, Texas? Where should the public be looking? Urban coyotes are known for eating domestic pets in neighborhoods. Daisy stands little chance against a wild predator. A schnauzer that went missing in Farmers Branch went missing a few years ago and we found only a head and legs left. Yup. It was a coyote. Every time I see a Metro post about ritualistic cat “slayings” I laugh because nothing has more surgical skill on a corpse like a coyote. Satan worshipping teens, my behind.

Coincidentally, I saw some coyotes trying to sell a black-market maltipoo on Craigslist.

Coyote MO: Eat and run. Sorry, lady.

although it is never easy losing a pet, I couldn’t help but laugh when I read this. did they say if this happened in Dallas or not? My friend’s cat was eaten by a coyote a few years ago and when I see missing pet signs on posts, I know exactly what happened to them… :(

I wish I could take credit for this one….the blond dude on TMZ last nite(sorry – guilty pleasure!) said Jessica’s maltipoo was probably now “coyote-pooh”…
