An alert FBvian who works high atop the Cityplace tower says that a few minutes ago he saw what he believed was Air Force Two headed to Love Field. It was a 757 with the U.S. seal on it. Anyone have intel? Comments are open.
POTUS and VPOTUS do not travel unless there is a stealth fighter (one for Biden, two for Obama) flying overwatch.

Not to be too pedantic but Air Force One is the designation for any USAF fixed-wing aircraft that is transporting the President. Similarly, Air Force Two is the designation for the aircraft flying the Vice-President. The airplane itself is not named Air Force One or Air Force Two. If the 747 that is typically used for the President is flying without the President, then it is not designated “Air Force One.” If that same aircraft is flying the Vice-President, then it would be designated “Air Force Two.”
Just wondering, what’s the criteria for when comments are on or off? Cause this blog is about 100x more interesting when the comments are on. IJS. Ranch up!

Other note: President Bush is at SMU this noon hour in the Perkins Building. Seems to be a fairly regular low key event now.

“this blog is like 100X more interesting when the comments are on”
ain’t that the truth.
And more funny and informative and well rounded. Without the comments is a little like letting us sit in bleachers while you kvetch.

Without reader comments “A Daily Conversation About Dallas” is certainly a misnomer. I rarely drop by anymore.

FrontBurner® launched in March 2003, the first blog in Dallas run by a media organization. This is where the editors of D Magazine preemptively out themselves for sleeping with co-workers before anyone can blackmail them with a movie script detailing their indiscretions.
According to the “Rural Tour ‘09″, Biden would be in Erie today.

obviously, i`m wrong but i thought air force 1 @ 2 were 747s`….
Per Wikipedia, AF 1 is a 747….http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_Force_One
So comments are only open where you cannot be questioned or scrutinized? Actually, I guess I’m doing both right now, but you know what I mean.
I think Tom Leppert approved a photo shoot over Cityplace…
A guess: the plane is being worked on. Some company around here used to do a lot of work on the radios on Air Force 1 and 2. (Vaught perhaps?)
