For those of you that are Flight of the Conchord fans, you will appreciate that lead in more than the general public. While those are lyrics to a very funny Conchords song, they are also great descriptors of the weather and course conditions at the Nelson today. Players are going low and the crowds are already swelling before noon. If the weather stays dry today this will be a fantastic final round of golf.
I’m heading to the range shortly to scope out the Money Group, who I anticipate will be local guy Rory Sabbatini and co-leader John Mallinger. I hate to cop out with my Money Group pick being the leaders, but with Sabbatini having a knack for flare and being a Ft. Worth resident, I think he’s the biggest draw today. I love Fred Couples, and my pick yesterday was spot on, so I don’t doubt that he will have a huge following today as well.
