I want the banks to be reasonable, too, so I’m going to not make my car payment.

I agree, Bethany. I’m going to hold off on my mortgage payments until I can negotiate a more reasonable rate with my bank. I’m thinking a 2% interest rate with monthly payments around $550 should do it…

This should end well, Josh!

Wait, he’s asking that the payment be made out of the interest “reserve”, which I assume was a chunk of cash he was required to put away as a safety measure for a rainy day. I have no way of knowing how much it is, but if your (car or house) lender had asked you to set aside 3 months of payments for if things got tough, and then times got tough, you’d want to access those reserves too. And your bank would be fighting it, because they would rather you use your other money.
At least that’s how I read it.

Can I request that my apt complex start using my “2 months rent” deposit I put down to help me with paying my monthly rent? Instead of getting it back 3 months after I move out?

This may be the first time in team history that selling the Rangers short has nothing whatsoever to do with on-field performance . . . and as life imitates art . . . the Rangers are bound to go on to win the World Series this year, foiling Hick’s effort to dump the team… ala “Major League.” We just need to get CJ Wilson some of those cool Buddy Holly glasses.

Did you just suggest that “Major League” is art? It is truly in the eyes of the beholder.

Hey Tom,
Go ahead and send me those Rangers Season Tickets and I will get around to paying you when the markets improve.

Hicks wants the banks to be reasonable. Well, we’d like Jerry World to be reasonable, but fat chance on either.
