An alert FBvian points us to news out of Atlanta that DeKalb County Police Chief Terrell Bolton — who is still fighting the city of Dallas for damages when he was fired here in 2003 — will learn tomorrow whether he’s fired again or not. When If he gets the axe, Bolton, it seems, might once again live in Dallas. His family still lives here.

  2. A not so alert FBvian. I don’t think the folks in Dekalb consider that he ever moved from Dallas, he certainly has spent every weekend here.
Oh, and he is so fired. Pre-termination letter:

  3. This is a chance for him to go to Juarez or some other border town and show how a police chief ought to operate.

  4. Dallas still has a stray dog problem throughout its inner-city neighborhoods. He may do well to apply for Dogcatcher.

  8. Dear Terrell,
I’m a Dallasite, and I just would like to know something. Why didn’t you play the race card? You played the Not Me card, the I didn’t do that card, the religious leader support card and with no humility, you played the crying card. Dang. And someone actually fell for all of it and hired you again. Well, now it’s time to play the race card because it’s the only one you got left and you’ve already shown you have no cooth.
