halz – my connection to the outside world! when asked “do you even know what the stanky leg is?” by my indignant kiddo, it is halz who gets full credit for the moves i busted on the spot. sadly, this didn’t save me from being a parental embarrassment, but it did save me from being deemed behind the times. thanks halz!

I’m happy to report that Gretchen is currently on very good terms with not only the owners of the Trade Winds, but their son who sleeps under this one specific table (sometimes his mom joins him) until the bar closes at two.
