Redundant news for those who hit refresh on Romenesko early and often: TCU’s (Bob) Schieffer School of Journalism hired John Lumpkin as its director starting June 1. Lumpkin is a vice president and former bureau chief for Associated Press. He’s got Fort Worth ties, as he used to work at the Star-Telegram. Here’s the full announcement.
