New Bosque Brown Music
Not sure if anyone else here is a fan of Bosque Brown, the local (well, Denton) band led by Mara Miller. The group has a new record coming out in March called Baby, a bit of an expansion on Bosque Brown’s starker previous efforts, Plays Mara Lee Miller and the Cerro Verde EP. Here’s the first taste, “Went Walking.”

I ran into album producer Chris Flemmons last week while in town. Our brief conversation about the Bosque record, along with his long-awaited release with the Baptist Generals, is up right now at my decrepit local music site, http://bigdlittled.com .
I dunno if you’ve heard the whole disc yet, Zac, but this sample song is barely a taste of what’s going on with the album. It won’t make them huge, but Baby is a career record, certainly.
